Lauren Albertine, APRN AGNP-C

Dr. Lauren Albertine

Lauren joins 901 Vascular with 5 years of interventional radiology experience, 11 years of ICU experience, and over 2 years of Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner experience. She cares deeply about delivering excellent patient care and working hard to salvage limbs as she values the ability to improve each patient’s quality of life. She believes the core of a great practitioner involves listening intently to your patients and her convictions regarding patient care has resulted in her being ranked in the 99th percentile on patient satisfaction.

Lauren D. Albertine is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner who was born and raised in Memphis, Tennesse. She attended the University of Memphis Loewenberg School of Nursing with a Bachellor of Science in Nursing and went on to spend 11 years practicing in the Trauma Intensive Care Unit at the Regional One Medical Center, affectionately known as “The Med” by felllow Memphians. During her time at The Med, she developed sedation protocols, precepted numerous new graduate nurses, and was extensively involved in unit education. She also worked as a nurse in an interventional radiology clinic and was a clinical preceptor for Baptist College of Health Sciences Nursing Program for 2 years.

Lauren graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2019 from The University of South Alabama at the top of her class with a Master of Science in Nursing. Her speciality area of focus is primary care adult gerontology. She has spent the last two and a half years practicing internal medicine caring for individuals with varying co-morbidities.

Lauren is married with two children and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. When not at work, Lauren enjoys running and going on hikes with her family and watching her boys play all of the sports they love.

Jennifer O’Dell, ACNP-BC

ACNP-BC Nurse Practitioner Vascular and Wound Care Specialist

Jennifer “JP” O’Dell is a board certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner who was born and raised in Columbia, Tennessee before moving to Memphis to attend The University of Memphis. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of Memphis Loewenberg School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and then spent 5 years practicing in the Intensive Care Unit at The Regional One Health Medical Center, affectionately known as “The Med.” During her time at The Med, she developed and lead the Rapid Response Team and successfully reduced the number of in hospital code blue situations. 

JP graduated Summa Cum Laude from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Nursing at the top of her class in 2006 with a Master of Science in Nursing. Her specialty area of focus was Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Specialist. JP is a board certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner who also serves as a preceptor for Acute Gerontologic Nurse Practitioner students in the UTHSC program.

JP joins our practice with 15 years of extensive vascular experience, having practiced in an open vascular surgery and endovascular surgery academic practice with UTHSC for the last 15 years. She has treated arterial disease, venous disease, lymph disorders, end stage renal disease, traumatic vascular injuries, cerebrovascular disease and congenital vascular anomalies. Possessing comprehensive wound care knowledge and experience, JP has treated complex arterial, venous, diabetic, surgical and pressure related wounds for the last 15 years. JP cares deeply about delivering excellent patient care and working hard to salvage limbs and improve a patient’s quality of life.  She takes time to listen to her patients and her patients consistently rank her in the 99th percentile on patient satisfaction surveys.

JP is married with three children and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. When she is not chauffeuring her kids around town she loves to exercise. In her spare time you can find her at her at a baseball game cheering on her son, or making jewelry with her girls. 

Dr. Jorge Salazar

Dr. Salazar grew up in Lima, Peru until age 10 when his family moved to Memphis, TN. He is a graduate of Rhodes College and the University of Tennessee School of Medicine, both of which are in Memphis. He completed his internship at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, OH before returning to Memphis to complete his Diagnostic Radiology residency followed by a Vascular and Interventional Radiology fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.

Dr. Salazar subsequently joined the UTHSC staff full time where he practiced Vascular and Interventional Radiology for 14 years and was instrumental, along with Dr. Joshi, in establishing a Pediatric Vascular and Interventional program at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital before deciding to take his skills full time to the outpatient setting where he has been practicing since 2008. Dr. Salazar is fully bilingual in Spanish and English. He is married with three children.

His expertise includes: Endovascular treatment of lower extremity peripheral arterial disease (PAD) for treatment of chronic limb ischemia as well as wound and limb salvage, venous insufficiency and varicose vein treatment (Laser or RF ablation, sclerotherapy, embolization), uterine fibroid embolization (UFE), dialysis access and maintenance (including percutaneous AV access creation), venous access (portacath, permacath, PICC)

Dr. Salil Joshi

Dr. Joshi grew up in Mumbai, India where he completed medical school at D.Y. Patil Medical College in Kolphar, India. He went on to finish a Diagnostic Radiology residency at Lokmanya Tilak Medical College in Mumbai, India. Dr. Joshi completed a Pediatric Radiology fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco.

Following this he arrived in Memphis and completed a Vascular and Interventional Radiology fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Following the completion of his fellowship, Dr. Joshi joined the UTHSC staff full time where he practiced Vascular and Interventional Radiology and served as the fellowship program director.

Dr. Joshi was instrumental, along with Dr. Salazar, in establishing a Pediatric Vascular and Interventional program at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital before deciding to take his skills full time to the outpatient setting where he has been practicing since 2008.
